Most of what we stock is Transformers, so this answer is about Transformers, which is where these questions usually come up. Official means made under licence from Hasbro, whether that's Hasbro themselves, Takara Tomy, or another licensed brand such as Blokees. Third party, as the Transformers community uses it, means unlicensed makers such as Fans Toys, Dr. Wu and Newage. They create figures based on Transformers character designs without a Hasbro licence, which is why you see strange and wonderful names like Apache instead of Springer. Fourth party is what most people think of as knock-offs. These range from straight copies to oversized or improved versions with extra articulation, paint, die-cast, lights or sounds. We do stock fourth party now and again, but selectively. We won't stock a fourth party copy of anything that's currently available to buy as the original. We only bring them in where there's real interest and nothing comparable on the market. Outside Transformers, we only ever stock official, licensed products.

We're very selective about which brands we stock, and that's deliberate. We only carry third or fourth party figures from makers we trust to produce quality, and we always tell you in the listing which brand made the item. If we're unsure about a product, we simply don't stock it. Makers like Fans Toys, Newage and Dr. Wu are on our shelves because we believe in the brands and the quality they produce.
